LA MANZANILLA
A quiet sea side village with true mexican charm. The beach is clean and stretches for miles, it possesses a slight gradual grade that is perfect for children. Gorgeous sunsets every night. Numerous cafes dot the village side of the bay. The town is small and quite laid back, although it dose get busy during the numerous holidays and fiestas that mexico is famous for. The Manzanillo airport is a 45 minute drive to the south and Puerto Vallarta is about a 3 hour drive north.

CASA DE LOS PERROS Is located on a quiet side street. There are 4 suites that shares a large secure courtyard with ample room for parking. Its about a 10 minute walk to the beach.

SUITE #1 A large 1 bedroom suite that can easily be adapted to 2 bedrooms, contains all amenities.

SUITE #2 A second floor studio suite complete with kitchen and shower facilities. Private patio and easy access to a third floor palapa style roof top.

SUITE #3 A ground floor 1 or 2 bedroom suite with easy access to the courtyard. Contains all amenities.

SUITE #4 A second floor studio suite with private patio. Contains all amenities.

THINGS TO DO IN AND AROUND LA MANZANILLA

BEACH ACTIVITIES: The beach offers all types of amenities from kids beach toys to renting bogie boards and kayaks. On weekends and during the many fiestas other beach activities are offered by local companies.

SNORKELLING/ SCUBA DIVING: Tenacatita at the other end of the bay has a small but beautiful coral reef.

WETLANDS ATTRACTION: The town is situated beside a large mangrove wetland. Literally hundreds of birds and other wildlife make this there home. Including a rare american crocodile population. HIKING/ BIKING: Numerous opportunities exist for the more active.

DEEP SEA FISHING: Charters and/or rentals can be made both in La Manzanilla or one of the larger towns, 20 to 30 minutes away.

GOLF: A number of courses are within driving distance. El Tamarindo resort just down the highway has a top 5 rated course.

TOWNS CLOSE-BY: Malaque and Barra Navidad are the two closes larger towns. Malaque which is 20 minutes by bus is a great place for stocking up on a good variety of food. It also has the closes bank. If you like shopping for souvenirs Barra is the place to go, its about another 10 minutes from Malaque.

MOUNTAIN TRIPS: A number of small towns and villages are only an hour or less away. Visit the petroglyphs, a co-op coffee plantation or one of the many hot springs that dot the mountains around this area.

FIESTAS AND HOLIDAYS: La Manzanilla seemingly has a fiesta every other week ranging from the national holiday (E.G. SEMANA SANTA) to the local fiesta (FIESTA DEL TOROS) and the odd week when there isn't one, a near by town has one to fill the void.
